Display P3
A wider colour space than sRGB, used by many recent phones, tablets and computer screens.
Also: P3, DCI-P3, wide gamut
P3 began as a standard for digital cinema projectors. A version adapted for screens, called Display P3, was adopted by Apple from 2015 and by many other makers since. It keeps the same blue as sRGB but uses a deeper red and a more vivid green, giving a gamut roughly a quarter larger. Bright reds, oranges and greens in photographs and video benefit most. Web pages can now specify P3 colours, though they must still supply a fallback for screens that can show only sRGB.
