For AI agents and developers
Everything on Rang can be read by software. It is public and read-only, and every answer carries the address of the page it came from so it can be cited.
MCP server
Point any MCP client at https://rang.cleartrust.cc/mcp (Streamable HTTP). No key is needed. Tools: search, get_colour, list_colours, name_colour, random_colour, colour_of_the_day, colours_today, get_colour_day, list_colour_days, colour_meanings, compare_countries, get_country_colours, list_countries, list_colour_cities, get_colour_city, list_emotions, get_emotion, list_concepts, get_concept, define_term, list_swatches, latest_news, stats, site_info.
{ "mcpServers": { "rang": { "type": "http", "url": "https://rang.cleartrust.cc/mcp" } } }
JSON API
The same tools answer plain HTTP: GET https://rang.cleartrust.cc/api/v1/<tool>?name=value. For example /api/v1/get_colour?slug=ultramarine, /api/v1/colour_meanings?country=JP, /api/v1/name_colour?hex=1F4FBF or /api/v1/colours_today. The list of tools with their parameters is at /api/v1/tools.
For publication networks
/api/v1/site_info returns a card for this publication: name, address, topics, counts, feeds, ad slots and contact. ClearTrust's network tools read it.
Limits
